    what a cool gun, always liked the desert. had an all gold .44 mag i bought from a friend that needed the money years ago, wonder what that thing is worth now? well, to someone that wanted a all gold cabinet/conversation piece?

    That picture reminds me of the DE 44mag I used to have. One heck of a handgun and I miss it.

    Guncrafter Industries is an outstanding privately owned company. The components they make as well as the 1911s they have are 2nd to none in quality. I have one of the earlier Model 1's and I love it!!! It's quality of fit and finish is just as good or better than my kimbers, springfields, and even my 10-8 operator. I use it for home defense. The ballistics for the .50 GI in a five inch barrel are perfect for the task. I would reccomend them to anyone.
