This could be very bad for Israel. Iran and Syria won't like losing their foothold in Lebanon if it degenerates into another civil war.

This situation is one to watch closely. Things have been relatively quiet in the Middle East lately. It makes me wonder if Hezbollah wasn't ordered to do this by their Iranian masters. I pity the Syrians if they decide to re-take the Golan Heights by force or do something stupid like fire a chemical missile or two at Israel. They aren't dealing with the same Israeli Prime Minister they dealt with in 2008. Yet, at some point, Syria WILL do something stupid. A religious book I can't discuss describes Damascus being completely annihilated by something that could be a nuclear device. And which country in the Middle East has nuclear capabilities?
