I'm in the process of putting together a small range on my place and after much research I've decided that a few stacks of sand-filled tires about head high will work out the best as a backstop for what I'm wanting to do.
I need to find about 15 junk tires, I'm thinking tires off a skid steer or the front tires on a backhoe would be perfect. I called the rental place the company I work for rents most of our equipment from and they said they had a couple I was welcome to- anybody got a line on some more?
I plan on taking pics and showing how I went about building mine, I know it's fairly common for a guy to want to make a good safe backstop on their own land, for plinking and load development.
I live in Richmond, and work on the East-side of Indy- so anywhere between these places would be easy for me to pick them up. I've also got a trailer big enough to get all I'll need in one whack.
If anybody has some of these laying around- shoot me a PM.
    Thanks,
    Jason
