I was at a small pub in central Florida and he walks in, sits down with us because we were drinking Beck's beer. We talked and drank for hours. He was that kind of guy.

I will miss him.

I’m glad to hear that, I always figured he was a pretty decent guy. He always seemed so happy.

Wife reported that he wrote Margaritaville while stopped in traffic on the 7 Mile Bridge.
Quite a few people from the Sanibel forum are headed to Cabbage Key this weekend to have the Cheeseburger in Paradise.

According to TMZ, Jimmy Buffett died of lymphoma that started as skin cancer.

He lead quite a storied life. His book, "A Pirate Looks at 50" is really good.

I started reading it but couldn't finish it when I realized that his was the life I should have been pursuing all along.

I spent a month in Ringling Montana that JB wrote a song about. The pile of beer cans was gone but the rest was still true. The jukebox played it about 20 times an evening in the bar.
