Yeah, I thought the same thing.
If she died from blunt-force trauma to the abdomen, she must have been in some pain, unless she was knocked unconscious.

It was reported that she was found at the base of a spiral staircase.
Those are not the easiest to navigate for a young person.
I don't know what physical shape she was in, but...I don't know.
I know I hate spiral-staircases.
