    1) Remington model 29b

    2) Savage model 34

    3) Remington model 41 Target Master

    4) Remington model 12 octagon barrel

Other than having shot one of these as a kid (the model 12) I know nothing about these guns other than who owned them. i don't think any are particularly valuable (haven't checked values because don't intend to sell) but wondered if anyone had any thoughts on any of these little rifles?

    Is 22lg a 22 long?

    I don't think I'm aware of it
Yep, when I was a young lad there were (5) 22 rimfire (not including Magnum) cartridges pretty much available everywhere ammo was sold.
    These were:
    (1) 22 cap (a 22 cal short with no powder - used for inside target shooting)
    (2) 22 short (still popular)
    (3) 22 long (pretty much obsolete)
    (4) 22 long rifle (top seller today)
    (5) 22 shot shells (believe these used the 22LR brass -crimped)

I don't think the 4 rifles the op has are 22 Long however, I don't recall any popular rifles that shot 22 long that also did not shoot 22 long rifle! Several of the semi- auto's were limited to 22 long rifle.

In the 1940's ~ early 50's, the local Co-op elevator sold 22LR for a penny apiece or $.35 a box. I was cash poor as a teen so bought many rounds for a penny a piece to hunt squirrel!

Oh I know what the 22 long is, just wasn't sure if 22lg was that or something else that I wasn't aware of. And yes I miss the days of cheap ammo as well

22 short can be used in a 22 long if you still want to shoot them.

I googled Savage model 34 and got exactly zero results.
Are you sure that's not a model 24? Is it an over/under?

Savage model 24's came in all sorts of caliber combination offerings, including, but not limited to,

    .22Lr/.420bore
    .22Lr/20ga
    .22Lr/12ga
    .22mag/.243Winchester
I believe I saw one offered in .22mag/.25-06

If it is a model 24, depending on the caliber(s), condition... it could be worth upwards of $700.
There's one on GunBroker right now in .22mag .222Rem/20ga and the bidding is up to $700 now.
