Had an accident today on my way to work this morning in the pre-dawn hours. It was still pitch black out. I collided with another vehicle that was traveling significantly under the speed limit, and they had no lights on.


I have always taken care of my vehicles, but I'll admit; I've been attached to this one. The family started calling it "Zippy" and it kinda stuck.


It's a shame, I was very much looking forward to a RallyCross event tomorrow morning in the rain and mud.

Nope, due to the lights being turned off by the other driver.

I've already been notified it's been totaled. It seems that Diamond only has something look at in their parking lot that looks like it's survived a nuclear blast, rather then fix her up.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. Happened too fast. I'd say it folded up the way it was supposed to crumple. The engine compartment looked pretty much straight on the way everything was pushed around. Who knows.

I have a bead on a car from a fellow INGO member that I'll likely pickup. If not for that, I'd go buy another Mazda 2 just like it before I got to work Tuesday, just to let my coworkers be baffled...hahaha.

Not sure, I'm using Firefox 15. I only viewed the thread on one of my computers. I may have to check it out on one of the others I have and see if the experience is the same there using Firefox.
