My was installed when I bought the house, but was in need of repair.

I learned real quick that working on a sprinkler system was not as hard as you think it would be. Basic pvc pipe repair skills, head replacement, line placement, valve replacement, ect, ect, is very easy.

I have over 900 feet of 1 inch line, 11 dc valves, 3 manual valves and 4 inground sprinkler boxes.

Runs pretty much maintenance free, except when I get an A-hole that runs over 4 of my impact head that run along the street. They have been hit the last two summers.
I'm waiting for them this year, two nail spikes (the heads sit 4 foot inside my property line and there is no sidewalk) and a wireless camera.

Well my system is still under warranty, so need to get my hands dirty yet. I just can't believe the lazy attitude of the installers and the Manager. As far as the sales men, there is nothing nice I can say about him!

Yes, but not in a long time. I do know a service tech there and have thought about using them as a sub-contractor I take it you are not happy with their service?
The part of wissco I deal with is from South Bend. If you are using them for before grass installation you will be fine. We will see what they do this next service call before I make to harsh a judgement!
