*SOLD*
Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful rifle. But I have another and will be making a different rifle purchase. The stock has been removed completely and treated inside and out with 7 coats of Pure Tung Oil (lightly finished with a finishing pad between the first three coats) with the first three coats cut 50/50 with mineral spirits and it was given time to cure. What came out was beautiful grain. This is a CMP IHC with the new Criterion barrel, stock, and refinished parts. There is no real pitting under the wood line. I found like a few dots on the receiver heel and that is about it. The bolt is IHC with the rest being a mix of HRA and SA.
The action is smooth along with a good fitting gas cylinder / front sight. I'm throwing in a 1907 replica sling from IMA antiques, five borg warner en bloc clips, 120 rounds of PPU M1 Garand .30-06 ammo and the original CMP case and documents (includes one more new en bloc). This should serve someone well for a long time. I haven't even fired this one yet. The receiver heel has grease on it, which looks like corrosion in the pics, but it is not. This IHC is extremely clean.
Price: $1650 FTF
Cash, PP F&F, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay (Electronic payments are confirmed before transferring the rifle)
*Valid Indiana DL shown at the time of sale for FTF*
Location: Anderson, IN (20 mins north of Indy)
I can take some items in trade towards the price if that helps. .223/5.56 ammo, 7.62x39 ammo, .308 ammo, accessories, etc. hit me up!
