    There are several different versions of these, and like this one they too will earn you a missed flight at the very least.
    Would this also be true if the body of the pen was made of ABS resin? If it stayed in your pocket, that might not show up. It would also be much tougher than the Cross pen. Personally, I'd at least like something that would be durable if while on a plane I did need a "friend" (a la Flight 93). Would it have made a difference? Possibly not, but without it, the answer is "definitely not". I don't want to have to try to McGyver something on short notice, y'know?
