    BigMoose, and all:

What is your opinion on Girsan MC14T? Not being a real Beretta, is it worthy of a dark corner of your safe?

    Imitation sincerest form of flattery?
    Or Turkish rip-off?

Its probably a good pistol, but I shun then for being a company just out to knock off everyone else's crap.

Taurus gets a pass. Beretta did leave them the Machinery and a License after all.

If I want a Beretta made in Turkey, I will buy a Stoeger.

Some Beretta eye candy. My Beretta 92 FS Inox Ghost Gun. I bought this brand new about 15 years ago. I’ve added Wilson Combat internals and a fully adjustable LPA rear target sight and original Beretta wood grips. I retained all original parts in the case.
I love shooting this pistol and it’s my “go to” target range gun.

Wow, WTH were they doing wrong with their Glocks?? :lmfao: I’ve been shooting those things for YEARS and have never had that many stoppages with them. Weird…

But I guess it worked out for Beretta (who makes a nicer, better pistol anyway)!
James Reeves on youtube said most of the failures were failure to lock open on an empty mag.. and that he thinks it was the testers bumping the slide stop.

The FBI testing counted as a failure if it did not lock open on an empty mag.

And it didn't in the end, the final report put the S&W 645 at the top.

The test was complete crap.. they did things like dock the foreign designs several points for parts availability (despite the fact that even then, it wasn't going to be too hard to get parts.

See, I’m a dummy because I didn’t catch the “FBI” part and figured those were from the XM9 trials for the Army (which Beretta did win), lol.
