Just a damned minute, I told my family I was done with this crap!!
No more ambush style interventions.
It all starts out with "how much ammo do you shoot in a year?". Then it's "how much does that cost per round". Then it's all "we made a list of things you could have bought with the money you spend on ammo in a year alone".
It's my life, I'll live it as I see fit. QUIT HAMMERING ME!!!
My son, his family and I share all our firearms and ammo. We probably go through 4 to 6 thousand rounds a year, quite a bit of High power (30-30, .243, 30-06 - 308, 8mm 7.5x55 etc.) and 5.56 , a LOT of 45 ACP, 38/357, 9mm, etc. and a little .380, 22 mag, 22 LR. and dependent on whims can go through a lot of 12 trap loads. Most of what we shoot we reload. We actually have over 30 different calibers and shoot some of all - though not every year.
Just looking into reloading equipment. Are you having just as hard a time finding reloading supplies lately and approximately how much do you think you save reloading?
