Hot weather carry?

The Handgun Carry post has me questioning how to carry with shorts and a t-shirt. Let's see some pics! But let's not make this an "opposite-women-and-firearms" thread.

"shorts" is subjective. b-ball shorts. nope. lol. but i generally don't wear those out. Cargos, untucked shirt, with a normal belt and an OWB with sweat shield is my game, but i'm not posting muffin top pics either.

I usually do a Sig 226 Legion. Shorts with a belt. AIWB more than the 3 O'clock Quality Tee Shirt covering the gun untucked. As I usually have to have it tucked in if its not super hot or humid I will tuck in the tee and have a button up over unucked

Similar but IWB hybrid holster for me, for as long as weather permits.

My shorts are blue jean carpenter style like these.

So I just have my edc belt, knife, magazine pouch, and holster as normal.

Me too, except with cargo shorts vs jeans. But the holster, gun, and belt are the same...

Cargo shorts (w/ tucked or untucked tshirt or golf shirt AIWB carry with a wifebeater), but I do not have a gut. Quick run to a gas station, pocket carry in a holster in gym shorts.

Not being critical, my friend. Just trying to help you think about where you go that has the highest likelihood of you ever needing your pistol for self-defense?

Ever watch the https://www.youtube.com/c/ActiveSelfProtection/videos ? A large number of the self defense encounters that he reports on is at where? Gas stations...

Pretty much this for me too. Maybe cargo shorts instead of jean shorts, but still basically short versions of the type of pants I normally wear. I've taken to OC (OWB) at the 3:30/4:00 position with my shirt tucked in because I got tired of wearing holes in my t-shirts/tank tops from them rubbing on my pistol grip, but occasionally I'll untuck my shirt if the situation dictates that I be a little more discreet.

I've given up on any kind of IWB carry because I've got too much "W" in my WB.

Pretty much the same as in cold weather, more IWB than OWB when hot out and just using a T-shirt. Jim.
