Here's the first of 2 Iverson classes on the schedule this year.

Introduction:
In this training course we will teach you the fundamentals of how to FIGHT with the carbine. This training program is designed for serious students, expect a fast pace, and many repetitions. Although our terminology might be the same as other trainers and schools, please note that we teach DEFENSIVE SHOOTING skills used under DURESS. All tactics and techniques taught, from Levels 1 - 3, are reality based and street proven. This training program is geared towards the first line of defense against crime and terrorism, the Police Patrol Officer, SWAT Operator, Counter Terrorism Teams, and Qualified Civilians.

Cost: $420 (includes $25 range fee collect the first day of class)
Round count: 1000 rds carbine, 150 rds pistol

The AR15 Rifle
Ammunition Selection
Sighting in for defensive Function
Electronic sights and accessories
Rifle marksmanship under Duress
Firearm Manipulation under Duress
Correct mounting of the rifle for DEFENSIVE SHOOTING
Use of the AR15 type sights
Trigger manipulation under Duress
Emergency Gunfight Shooting positions
Stoppage reduction under Duress
Sustainability under Duress
Multiple Target Engagement
Close Quarters Battle Shooting Techniques
Physical maintenance of the rifle system under fighting conditions.
Transition to secondary weapons

GEAR REQUIREMENTS:
You must have the following gear:
Eye and Ear protection (electronic ear pro is highly recommended)
Brimmed hat or ball cap
Pen / pencil & notepad (something you can keep with you all day for notes)
One serviceable carbine with good quality sling or carry strap
4 serviceable carbine magazines (minimum, more is better)
Carbine magazine carrier/s to carry at least two 30 round magazines or three 20 round magazines on body
One Serviceable pistol
Pistol holster (must hold pistol securely during strenuous activities)
Pistol magazine carrier (two magazines for single stack guns, single magazine for high cap guns minimum)
1000 rounds of rifle ammunition
100 rounds of pistol ammunition.
One open mind and a dedicated spirit willing to learn new tactics, techniques, and principles.

Optional equipment:
Gloves (mechanics or specialty i.e. flight gloves, hatch, Blackhawk, etc.)
Neck cover (keeps brass out of the shirt)
Knee / Elbow pads (we will be kneeling and going prone, these are helpful)
Dump pouch (to keep expended magazines off the deck)

Henk is awesome in more than one way. I recommend any classes he does without reservation. He doesn't do many classes that allow non-police civilians in them each year, so don't miss the opportunity.

Tinman ... is this the Level 1, or Level 1-3? Or does he still do things that way?

It's kind of evolving into something else, but this is still a level 1 class. We're going to try and get through some additional info depending on how well the class performs.

The training lists AR-15 carbines while the equipment list says AK. Is the course for either or was the equipment list copied and pasted from the AK operations course?

Yea, I made a woops on the equipment list. I have corrected.

You can run any carbine you wish in this class. The other class is specifically for the AK.
