    Yes, I am following the basic "guidelines" and introduce myself.

    I came across this page while looking for details on a Taurus PT140 Millenium Pro (.40 caliber).

    I aquired this weapon brand new for less than $300 and use it mainly in my 2nd profession while working as a private detective (IN state now changed the tiles, I am aware of it). I was looking for a Walther P99, but boy, a lot of money to spend.

    I made the mistake of selling my Walther PPK many years ago, considering how much I would have to pay for it now. I also used to own a Colt Phyton (356 Magnum), which was just too big for me (I have rather small hands).

    I guess that's it for right now. Am currently in the process of upgrading my holsters, and am keeping my eyes open for a nice Walther like mentioned before.

    That reminds me, I have to renew my license, it will expire in a month. I held it for almost 20 years, I guess I will go with a lifetime now.

    Greetings!

    2nd profession? I am barely professional enough for 1! Sounds like a good deal on the PT140. Welcome!

    Thanks to all. Quite a welcome I must say.

    @BHRxxx: Well, I got here due to work. Once I seperated from the company which sent me here, I had nothing better to do then to stay. Don't know, somehow like it here (don't ask why! :-P)

    @ATM: I can only agree. Again, don't ask why I'm still doing it that way.

    @BLOxxx: I agree. I was told all kinds of fees, from $100 to $180. Well, here are the facts (IN Code 35-47-2):

    (2) an unlimited license shall be:
    (A) thirty dollars ($30) for a four (4) year unlimited license;
    (B) seventy-five dollars ($75) for a lifetime unlimited license from a person who does not currently possess a valid Indiana handgun license; or
    (C) sixty dollars ($60) for a lifetime unlimited license from a person who currently possesses a valid Indiana handgun license.

    Thanks again for the welcome.

    Greetings!
