A new member, but not new to the interest.

I've submitted my retirement paperwork and anticipate more time for the things I enjoy. I spent most of my career working for Uncle Sam. The last 50 years has brought a lot of change to what we used to call "The Service". It is time to hang my hat.

I am partial to Levers and Six Guns, but anything that goes bang has an interest.

No, but my firearms interest lay in that direction.

At the moment, I'd be concerned about shooting up all my ammo.

I had to part with a couple rounds yesterday to rid my henhouse of a bad one. He was a beady black eyed little villain. He kept grinning at me and hissing. Still had the yolk stains on his chest. I gave him fair warning, but he wouldn't depart the premises. Instead he dug in and holed up.

Notched his ear with the first shot. He rolled over and played dead, trying to catch me off guard. The second shot made him realize the error of his ways.

He won't be harassing my feather clad ladies any more.

I've been on "Terminal Leave" the past month. I can't imagine running out of things to do.
