I like Dr. Paul's outlook in that he is all about minimizing government and his first question on a piece of legislation presented for his support is, "Is it Constitutional?" If that answer is no, he's done. There is no sense discussing it if it's not Constitutional, because even if he liked the idea, he cannot do anything about it.
I very much wish we had at least 70 Senators and 300 Representatives who did likewise in the Congress and someone in the White House that understood the limitations on his power. I'd also like to see the same proportions on the state level, because an understanding of Federalism would allow for both levels of power and greater service to the People.
I know, I know... wish in one hand, poop in the other, and see which one fills up first.
