I`m a huge fan of Buck Knives, I love `em. Buck makes great knives and they have an excellent warranty, and wonderful customer service. All other things being equal, I`m all about the warranty and customer service.

Here`s great information on blade shapes and uses for each shape:

Very interesting, gregr .... thanks !
I still own several Buck knives, both old and new.

This is perhaps my favorite .... from their Custom Shop.

Great read I learned a bit from that. Sometimes you got to read the basics put in a different perspective. A buck 110 is next on my list classic knives and a great American company.

I have several Buck knives, 2 of which are 110 hunting folders. One is a standard 110 Folding Hunter with the clip point, but it has the finger grooves on the handle. The second 110 Folding Hunter is the newer drop point blade with the standard handle. I also have the Buck Open Season small-game knife, along with assorted other Buck Knives that I just don`t remember the models. I kinda like Buck Knives.
Edit: Also have a Buck PacLite Gut-Hook for deer.
