got the first vortex razor reddot today

got the first one today.

my inital impression is this thing is built like a tank. very clear glass,

my main concern was that the controls would be hard to get to for my fat fingers, its hard to tell until i get it mounted but it doesnt appear to be as difficult as i thought it might be. i really dont think it will be a issue since i will turn it on its highest setting and never turn it off. battery life on its highest power setting is 1 year. i guess i can change a battery once a year pretty easily.

i got the 6moa version since i will be mounting mine on a glock but it comes in 6moa and 3moa.

its not cheap at 479 but if your looking for the very best this deserves a look.

Easy, push out the rear sight, and replace it with the glock mount.

ill keep you posted on what i think, since mine is for a close range pistol i got the 6moa dot, if your putting it on a rifle id use the 3moa. if you want ot come out and try before you buy let me know. my gun will be avaible for folks wanting to try it.

I'm curios how it compares to the C-MORE STS?

I can see right off the bat that it comes with a mount that is extra on the STS. It's battery life claim seems better also.
