Going to the West Coast Naked

Well I fly out Sat. afternoon to go canoeing with my Dad, Unkle, and grandfather. The old man is just too far over the hill (80)to keep making backpacking trips to the Sierras any more. Going to be a fun trip in OR.

Anyhow for the first time in years I am going completely firearmless. I am very apprehensive about it, but I suppose I have no choice but to roll the dice for those LEFT COAST _____. Keep me in your prayers, 3 flights to get there on Sat at noon and 3 to return next Sat.

I'll try to keep yal posted with pics.

Have a safe trip! I know how you feel, I went through the same thing a few years ago when I flew out to see a friend in OR. I felt naked on that trip as well, no gun, no knives, no lighter. I have been carrying a knife almost all the time since I was 8 yrs old. I felt helpless. So I know how you feel.

Either way have a good time with your family and appreciate the time with them while you can. Keep safe!!
