I've used one before and I actually liked it, I tried the XDS which has a 1911 type feel to it and the glock still seemed to sit better in my hand. I'm more accurate with the 1911, but I'm sure I just need to get a feel for the glock and put some practice into it.well make sure you handle a glock before you buy one, im betting if you a 1911 guy you will hate the grip and trigger. from my understanding glocks are kinda plug and play most parts fit right in them no problem.
before you go to far i would try a cz p07 or a p09 there about the same price, i surprise you like them i hate the feeling of them feels like im holding a fence post to me.I've used one before and I actually liked it, I tried the XDS which has a 1911 type feel to it and the glock still seemed to sit better in my hand. The cz guns are larger than the 26, I'm not too big and I'm looking for something I could easily tuck away under a shirt.before you go to far i would try a cz p07 or a p09 there about the same price, i surprise you like them i hate the feeling of them feels like im holding a fence post to me.
Come to the NWI March Meet and Shoot and you can try mine. I have a 27 Gen3 (.40 cal) and a 17 Gen4 (9mm). No "fitting needed out of the box. I did put 3.5 lb. trigger kits in them, but that is just a matter of preference.I've always had 1911's but I'm looking to get a glock 26. Do the parts on glocks need to be fitted like a 1911? and how difficult is it to work on these guns?

I have looked at cz before though and they look very nice, Thanks for the info though.
Very easy to work on. About the only thing that requires fitting is the connector if you replace it.I've always had 1911's but I'm looking to get a glock 26. Do the parts on glocks need to be fitted like a 1911? and how difficult is it to work on these guns?

Glocks are easy to work on. There is no fitting like a 1911. You can polish parts to get a smoother action and trigger.
