Due to extenuating circumstances, there will be no raffle of this gun and it is being returned to INMIline. What he chooses to do with it after that is up to him.

I would have liked to have been able to make it work, but if I can't do it right then I'm not doing it at all.

I'm disappointed as well, but I was determined that it wasn't going to turn out like the AK "raffle". There was just no way to do it properly in a manner that would make us all proud to have participated.

if INMIline is agreeable, why not just sell it on gunbroker?

INGO'ers can bid on it there.

I realize a straight auction might bring in less money than a raffle, but the raffle headaches are avoided.

Seems like I remember a not for profit, which did not have a raffle/gambling license, would sell tickets and the person whose ticket was drawn must then answer a trivia question in order to win. Somehow making it a contest wormed it through a loophole. IIRC the question was something like "what do the letters NRA stand for? it was a gun raffle.

So why not just put it up for auction sale here, give it a week, and whoever has the highest bid wins.

It was suggested that a Raffle would allow people, including those with limited funds, to be involved as well.

/\ /\ this /\ /\ and it would not need to be drawn until all tickets sold.

I just happen to know a printer that can make tickets...................
