GLOCK 23 Question

I recently got my GLOCK 23 and was wondering what grain ammo people would recommend for self defense? Thanks for your thoughts!!

Whatever; the gun will eat it all. That said, I tend toward the middle of the road in every caliber I carry. For the .40s it is 155-165gr.

I recommend using the same grain you will use at the range.

My carry ammo in my G23 is 155gr Winchester Ranger.. but it'll eat anything I put in it, as everybody else has said..

As "urustyone" illuded to, there is a signifigent difference in the feel of 180gr ammo versus 155gr ammo (and so forth, and so on) so it's good to practice with a similar load all the way around, IMO..
