Glock 22 magazine compatibility

Just bought a glock 22 hi-cap 15 round mag, .40 s$w, will be doing a conversion to 9 mm in the near future, anyone have an idea if the glock 19, 17 round clip will work?

When you go to 9MM, you'll be using GLOCK 17 9MM mags

1) the glock 19 holds 15 rounds
2) the glock 17 holds 17 rounds
3) the glock 19 mag will not fit in a flock 22. It's to short

The glock 22 mags will hold 17 9mm rounds and will work with the conversion. Try it

Longer mags, in the same cal. will work in like cals in Glocks, that's the sweet part.

You cant swap barrells and not swap mags.......(Like lone wolf barrell and change a 40 to a 9, you must swap mags as well.)

I did here that there is a retention probrlem going from gen 3 mags into gen 4 guns, I heard this from a Glock armourer, but I haven't experienced it first hand.

The G22 can take a 9mm barrel, which you already know. Fill the .40 mag with 9mm and rock and roll. It works. Many, many accounts of it working fine. Do a google search.

As for gen4 guns, I'm not sure. I've seen it work with the first 3 just fine.

You will be unable to use 19 or 26 MAGAZINES.

Either the 17 or the 33 round magazines will work fine for you.

15rds is STANDARD capacity for a Glock 22.
