Are you 22lr trackers seeing more of it hitting the shelves or not? It doesn't seem like it is to me, but I'm not trying to track it really hard either.

Clerk at Dicks in Avon told me yesterday that they are supposed to have the 1400rd buckets in stock Sunday morning. They still have the 500rd boxes of thunderbolts. I have picked up a box every day this week.

Dick's in Carmel had a PILE of Rem Thunderbolt bricks yesterday on sale at 24.99 limit 1.

There is a reason why the Thunderbolts are staying on the shelves, rumor is that Remington made "improvements" to the line that produces the rounds, but I not going to waste my money.

I know I am not a master marksman but the thunderbolts have performed for me as well as any of the other bulk box ammo. I've shot about 1200rds through three different guns without any issues and accuracy comparable to other bulk packs. Several years ago they had a bad rep for leading badly but I've not experienced that. I ran 400 rounds through my 10/22 in one afternoon with out cleaning. No problems with leading.

Agree @ Notalentbum, Thunderbolts are fine for the price and purpose. And since they do seem to be more available (by degree) recently than any other bulk pack, I'm picking them up whenever I can if the price is right.

Dick's had a stack of buckets on Sunday morning. Carmel still had some at 11am.

I've had bad luck with them in the past, but the last bulk pack I bought performed well. Not a single misfire.

Federal AutoMatch .22 lr 325 round bulk pack at Dick's this morning. $19.99. 1 box per customer. Said they had plenty. Good prices on Independence 5.56 ($7.97 per 20) and Federal 9mm ($22.50 per 100 bulk pack).

Couple days ago Midwest in Mishawaka had good supply of .22 - Remington, Federal, etc. Even had M22. Price was higher than would like but no limits. Most places seem to have fair to good supply of common centerfire.

i know of one in Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield but drawing a blank on W. Washington.

Gander Mountain in Avon has .22. Picked up a Federal 525 pack (24.99) and 4 Remington Subsonic 50 packs (4.89) over lunch. CCI Standard Velocity 500 pks were 49.99. A little to pricey for me today. The counter guy said they had a bunch, but wasn't sure how much they would put out each day over the weekend.
