Does anyone know if the officer shot yesterday in Pendleton was shot with a fully automatic weapon as I have read in a few reports? With two officers shot plus Aurora there will be some new legislation. I know it won't stop anything and people are crazy all the more reason I hate being unarmed any time. It also will come down hard since a person just driving down the road was killed during the gunfight. We will be losing rights soon I can feel it.

I heard the reporter say "fully automatic AK 47," but I think they believe all rifles are autos.

Last report I heard, the shooter modified the rifle to fire full auto. It wasn't the government hated "AK-47", for what it's worth, the guy turned what appeared to be an SAR-1 into a full auto AKM. Still illegal by our unconstitutional laws.

I wonder if it was a Slide Fire stock, or something along those lines. I can easily see the media or even law enforcement making the mistake of believing it was full auto with a slide fire stock.

It would be impossible for the shooter to have used a full auto weapon in the shooting of a LEO.

After all, using a full auto to shoot a LEO is illegal.
