I was a Ford guy growing up because I loved the Mustang, but as I got older and wanted a truck I decided to go with a Chevy and I am glad I did.

    Pretty much Michigan.
I own a chrysler prodcut, ford, and a gm product. Im cool with anything that works. Only thing i wont own is 4.7 magnum, triton engines, 6.0/6.4 powerstroke, and northstar engines, and the junk trans years of chrysler.

My current daily. Paid $400 for it exactly as it sits.

4 banger, stick shift, 4x4. Saves tons of gas over my GMC.

For Chevy, I have had several Vettes, Irocs, a Yukon, a few 3500 trucks and several Suburbans.

I have also had a 5.0 Mustang, many F-350's and several Excursions.

Can not forget a half dozen Trans Ams.

Last but not least more than I can count old Chargers, Challengers, Super Bees, an 80's Daytona and the wifes newer Hemi Ram.

Oh, a couple old Buicks too.

To break it down I do like my Ford trucks much more than my GM trucks. However our next dually will be a Ram.

Muscle cars, I am a Mopar guy but will not kick a 79 Trans Am out of the garage either.

Daily driver cars, not interested in any make or model. After getting hit by a drunk driver several years back all my daily drivers have been trucks or large SUV's

I'll also ask... for what purpose?

Both have produced some gems and some crap over the years. If only comparing those two manufacturers:
    • Ford Bronco crushes anything Chevrolet offers.
    • Chevrolet Corvette crushes anything Ford offers.
    • Cute Utes are a crapshoot from both
    • Ford owns the fleet and "efficient" truck market. Chevy owns the larger work-truck market (outside of Dodge, which isn't a choice in this exercise).
    • Both have pretty much exited the car market. (Chevy with 2 models, and Ford with only 1)
That said, I have 5 Jeeps (2 AMC, 1 Chrysler, and 2 Fiats) and a GMC truck. Guessing my selection criteria are a BIT different than most.
