Well my wife and I received our first paychecks, and on our modest, comfortable income for two people, we will now be paying $200/month more in Social Security taxes.

That's money we'll never get back or see!!!!

I hope EVERYONE who voted for BHO is happy.:xmad:

Oh, by the way, we don't make anywhere near the $450K threshold.

I'm with you man. I have two young girls and a stay at home wife and those thieves in DC are taking $183 a month out of my paycheck for something I will never get.

Look, guys, you just don't understand modern society. The fact that you get up and go to work doesn't entitle you to any more of the good things in life than those who can't or won't work.

Remember folks, this increase is a result of the payroll tax reverting to where it was two years ago and has been at that rate IIRC since the 80's. I'm not saying that's good or bad, just the fact. None of us can see in the future and be sure one way or the other what they will receive in social security. The projections are just that, and the govt will have to make appropriate adjustments to prevent rioting in the street. Too bad when Bush wanted to privatize it the socialists went nuts and killed it.

It is important to understand that BHO sees every tax as a "temporary reduction" until all taxes equal 100%.
Only the Federal Government can properly distribute wealth.

This isn't purple to many in America, and almost all in Congress.

Another fact is that this tax didn't use to exist at all prior to FDR.
