first sign of pre-rut activity

i just got back from some spotlighting and saw my first pre-rut activity. a 1.5 yr old following a doe.

its a good sign fellas

On my drive home from work this evening around 8:30 I saw a buck running a doe across a field by my house. Can't wait to get back into the woods on Thursday.

Yeah me and a buddy were watching two 8 pointers locking up last night on patrol. They weren't full into it, but its a start Been seeing a little fighting over the past week though.
