Again and again we are told that governmental workers will not risk their careers or retirement to cover up a great crime. E.g., IMPD's Officer Bisard who was .19 BAC but "no one" could smell alcohol on his breath.

Cover ups do happen, every day, everywhere. Sometimes the cover ups last for decades and a fat lot of good the apologies do.

The government deliberately infected innocents in foreign countries, dozens upon dozens of people knew, no one said a word:

If FDR were held to the same standard as other presidents for what occurred on "his watch" he'd go down in history as the worst president. Actually, he goes down in my book as the worst president of the century, perhaps of all time.

Oops, I guess that was Truman's watch. Same thing.

Are you say the 9/11 truthers are right?

No, but perhaps the Bisard Truthers are right all along.

"No government employee would endanger his career in order to cover up a crime."

Is that so? Hmmm, didn't that happen here?

"No way you can get IMPD officers, med techs, IMPD brass, paramedics, the police dog, Officer Chompy, to all say that he was not drinking. Bisard had contact with dozens of people."

Oh, really? Any other massive cover ups you would like to tell us about that could not happen?

Except when the US Gov did its thing back in the late 40s, there were no cell phone cameras around.

There were human vocal cords in the throats of the government agents that shot the disease into the innocent.

There are human vocal cords in the throats of IMPD officers, med techs, inter alia that interacted with another governmental agent at .19 BAC.

Better to come forward now rather than bear the burden of decades of cover up like the STD case.

I find this story very difficult to believe.

It's not like gonorrhea and syphilis are rare STD's & in the 1940's south America would have been penicillin-less, so there would have been literally millions of existing cases to study.

    I like your posts Kirk.

But drawing any kind of parrallel between an irresponsible cop that will be less than served any form of justice, and a government that treated (or treats) people in a vile and inhumane manner are too far spread apart on the spectrum of tyranny.
No doubt about it conspiracy has existed and continues to exist in those entrusted to do right by people that keep their egos afloat.

But there is a lot human garbage between the two.
If it makes anyone feel any better, Bisard is going through hell - maybe he should - not for me to say. The scientists and government officials that did the STD crap most likely slept well enough.

    I agree with this.
The story sounds like some media bs to give outsiders an excuse to want to collapse and hate America as a whole.:dunno:
That's all we need, more freaky enemies.

I took a quick look into the biography of the researcher who published this report, it seems she's a far-left activist who was also once a self-described "community organizer" in NYC.

I can't help but wonder why we would be apologizing for it then, if it's BS?

If that's the case I'm sure we'll hear a bunch of denials really soon.

    I doubt it.

It is tied into this current administration's "America is evil" philosophy & the story only helps to weaken our relations with the people in that region, a region that Hugo Chavez is attempting to convert/subvert to socialistic societies, which I believe is a goal shared by many people in our own current administration.
