Elliptical Repair

Good evening INGO. This might be a long shot, but I wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with elliptical machines, and their repair.

Recently our machine at home developed an issue where the right foot pad impacts the wheel housing on the downstroke, as the foot pad hits the lowest part of its motion. This only happens on the right side. The wheel tracks are clear, everything with the machine seems tight, and the left and right arms, etc., all seem to be set up correctly and are the same length.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything about repairing them, but I hear that they make great coat racks, much like exercise bikes and treadmills!

That's how ours was used for the longest time. Now we're using it, of course it developed issues

Do you have any pics of the problem? It might be of some help for us to determine the cause.
