Getting some rain now, but otherwhise my thousand dollar lawn is now toast..., did I say thousand? Geez, wish I had all that money back. I've had enough fertizlier spread on my lawn I could fart and go to the moon..., or is it Mars these days? I'm a proud Purdure grad, and here's another with some sound advice...

Talking to a fellow I know the other day about this.

He was mule-headed and thought "I don't needs to water MEYE lawn". The lawn died, the grubs appeared, the raccoons moved in and tore up the yard. He did not think raccoon could dig like that.

At IU they spell it FERTILIZER.

And what PU grad would fertilize in the spring?

Yep, they point at purdue and say FERTILIZER.

Well it looks like IU taught where the caps key is but just not where to use it. But we are way off topic here. Prepare to aerate/slice seed your lawn last week of August to first couple weeks of September. You may want to plan ahead as grass seed may become a little scarce and/or pricey. I just received a letter from our seed supplier urging us to get our order in as there is no seed left over from last year and this years harvest of seed was not great.

It's funny that you didn't point out the misspelling of his Alma Mater. That mistake is a bit bigger in my opinion but oh well. Clearly spelling isn't his strong point.

I went to neither, but I prefer IU. :D

Enough rain lately that my lawn is starting to come back.

We did too, a few weeks ago. We got enough rain that I had to mow two weeks in a row. But it's been dry since then and the mower will be setting in the garage again this weekend.

All that rain alot of other people got the last few days went around us.
