My beagles always prized the deer legs they would find out in the woods from trespassers field dressing their kills. I think the BARF thing makes pretty good sense for a pooch

My neighbor has a deer processing center next door, and by the end of the season my yard will have seen every deer leg brought over by my trespassing dog. You can't keep deer bones from a jack russel terrier. last year they processed well over 200,thats 800 leg bones to pick up,exagerated yes,but after so many it seems like I get them all.

I let my wolf/dog Nikki have the skull and guts of shot squirrels. It's her treat for helping me out.

I cannot find any downside to this - she's been immunized against everything that it could give her.

Every time I take a cow to the locker I ask for the femur bones and the joints for my rott and my brothers 2. They love them will eat on them for hours on end. So I would think deer bones are ok.
