die question

Being new to reloading, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if other brands of dies will work in Lee presses and vise versa? Any info would be appreciated.

Most will but unless you are shooting benchrest or need small base dies I wouldn't waste my money. I have Lee Dies that have loaded 10,000's of rounds with no problems.

I have Lee Dies that have loaded 10,000's of rounds with no problems.

And I have some that wouldn't make good paper weights. In most cases you get what you pay for.

Thanks....my problem is I'm shooting a .300 SAUM which Lee doesn't carry unless you have them make a set....thanks for the info!

I'd look at Redding first, Dillon second, RCBS third.
