The growth of this site is amazing and it became very evident this morning that we need to move to a new server that can handle a constantly growing INGO.

And in other news, smaller websites around the net experienced a sudden increase in traffic today. . . . .

Looking forward to the new hardware! :ingo:

Yep, around noon I tried to warn as many people as I could in Indy that gas was going up 40 cents. I filled up for 3.76 and before I left Indy it was 4.15
Next time I will just call everyone on INGO

I was waiting for the Homeland Security shield to pop up all morning. I admit I was mildly disappointed later on ;) I thought we'd struck a nerve somewhere.

Yes, I thought our lovely IT people  had "upgraded our security" again. I was so happy after lunch to realize that they are still just as brilliant as ever!:laugh:

I know how that is... my "security admin" implemented a nice shiny new McAfee web gateway about 6 months ago... he still hasn't figured out that all us NetAdmin folk just use Firefox and bypass his precious device! :D

    Mods & Fenway,

If you need any hardware configuration assistance, networking type crap, or someone to hangout and shoot the :poop: with during the upgrade, I offer my assistance. :D

This is why it is so important for people to pony up some $$$

If you guys love this place, chip in the $10. All this equipment and resources cost money.

I'm glad I could help support the cause :)

I did, really I did.... Fenway, please!!! I'm dyin' here! :D

No I understand completely, I'm in the IT biz... a good, fast server for a website, hardware only, will run around $4000, if you go with a pre-built, Multi-core system with as much RAM as you can get for the $
