Looking on here, all I have seen is how high prices are. I was wondering if anyone has found a good deal on anything. Just to give someone hope that there is a deal to be had at this 1500.

Common sense demands that there will be no "bargains" at the show this time. It is the ultimate seller's market. There is no reason, no incentive, for ANYONE to offer you a deal. Why would they?

I didn't think they would, just wondering if there was anything. Did not have to be firearms or ammo, just anything there.

Just heard from my nephew who went today. I ask him to pick me up some Kleen-Bore silicone cloths if he could find them under $3 each. I paid $2.50 at the show for them about this time last year. He found several vendors selling them but the lowest price was $4.50. All but one were at $5 or higher.

100% increase in a year? I don't think the gouging was limited to guns and ammo..... I'll pass.

Just purchased it for 300.00. Armslist...:ar15:GOtta love it!

Unfortunately when you are an old fart like me who used to buy it for $70 a case, $300 is beyond comprehension.

Unfortunately what was is no longer, so what is is what we have to put up with.

(not responsible for brain damage if you try to read my above statement after consuming alcoholic beverages. :D )

I found a nice Inland M1 carbine for $630. Saw another nice one for $690. My friend got a good deal on a civil war rifle. It all depends on what you are looking for. I saw lots of high prices but I didnt really felt I saw a bunch selling. I did see lines at Midwest and the other high volume vendor whose name I dont know.

Ammo was sky high. I thought about making a sign and trying to sell some of my 308 and 5.56. I'd love to get $1 a round for either I just dont want to carry it. There was a guy pushing a janitor cart loaded with ammo down the isle and selling off of it. That was a new one on me.

I saw lots of guys walking magazines around trying to sell them. They were mostly looking for $25 or $30 a mag for AR mags. I thought about doing this also but am glad I didnt as they didnt seem to be selling. I saw a Surefire 60 round mag being walked aroung for $200 as well as a Beta mag for $350. Glock mags seemed to be $65 and up. I wish I would have bought a truck load when I could have got used Glock 19 mags for $10

Found several S&W 3904 magazines for $22.50 each. A very good price for hard to find mags.

Funniest thing was a standard Ruger 10/22 Takedown for $629, 30' down the same aisle was a Talo US shooting sports version (blue stock) for $369.

For there being a shortage of 30 round magazines it sure seems like everyone had them and NOBODY was buying them. Makes me think the bubble should burst pretty soon unless the Gov stirs things up again.

There is a guy at a table between the NRA booth and the South Bend Chocolate/Johnson Safe table that has federal primers. (Large pistol, small pistol, and large rifle)for $32 per k. Don't know that is a great deal, but much better than the $60 per k for the small rifle primers I saw.

I found $100 AR Bolt Carriers with gas key's installed.
    Bushmaster LPK's for $75
LE trade-in Glock 27, 30, and 22's with Trijicon night sights for $499
Knights Armament 200- 600 meter rear sights $40.00. No they are not knock offs. They are normally a $190 BUIS at Op Parts

There are some deals to be found you just gotta look.
