    Which dept of public safety? I know mine doesn't allow it. If it did, I'd probably apply for the job.

    I'm too old, but would like that job too.

    Considering your (or our) heli is not used very much, it would be a race to get up in the air before any sort of police action was long over by the time the helicopter reaches the area of the incident.

    I have a feeling some kid drinking Mt Dews and eating Dominos will get that job (via UAV) before any IMPD officer might get it. Harrumph.

    Shoot to disable the pickup? Shooting at a moving truck from a moving helicopter....nope no danger of hitting people there.
