Dehumidifiers

My A/C guy stopped by today to PM my system. Once he was done he recommended I get a dehumidifier. I thought, isn't that the primary function of the A/C unit? Well, it would benefit from some assistance. Makes sense with doors opening every 30 minutes (are we living in a barn, shut the d@!* door) letting in the humidity.

Anywho, opinions on dehumidifiers are welcome.

Go to Goodwill with a smartphone... find a recalled unit, buy it, and send in for the replacement under recall.
