Wow, Darth Vader has really gone overboard now. Can anyone ID the rifle? ( Darth appears to have bad trigger finger discipline.....)

When I saw it on the news this morning they were calling it a bolt-action rifle.
It looked more to me like a bolt-action shotgun.

    Pretty brazen at any rate.

At least it wasn't one of those super-deadly .223 guns...

I am going to guess Mossberg 410 shotgun with possible barrel choke ... And to be fair here, I think a Bank robber by the nature of the job
is suppose to have bad trigger finger discipline .

    Does look pretty close.
I was thinking J.C.Higgens 20ga but the pictures from the cameras are not that great.

I love how they zoomed in on his face... as if that would remove the mask and allow us to see who was behind it.

It does look a lot like an old mossberg, that's what I learned to rabbit hunt with. An old mossberg 20 gauge with the screw on chokes.

Once I realized it was a full costume and not just a mask, I realized we could narrow the search quite a bit. Mothers' basements. Comic book shops. Wherever Dungeons & Dragons is played locally. He's got to be in one of those.

True it's not like a crew of them came in masks only and organized Point Break style.

not so fast copper... notice its not a proper hard plastic authentic mask/headpiece. Maybe not in the basement after all... no self respecting basement dweller would be caught dead in that getup.

Your assumptions might not be correct. Any self respecting Star Wars fan would not be caught dead in a soft Vader mask and tee shirt armor.

Yes he probably did take the single shot shotgun from a grandparent.

This guy is obsessively is not a Star Wars fan or he would of had better gear.
