Horrible air quality here in NE Indiana. Can't those Hoseheads dump some water on their fires? Anyway, all day my eyes have the mist from the smoke of a distant fire.

I hope the winds arent doing this on Indepenence day. We are already dealing with about half what all the fireworks around us put off on a busy night. I cant imagine putting that firework smoke on top of this stuff.

We haven’t hardly seen the sun today just due to the smoke. Not a chance of color for us.

If it was just smoke it would be a glorious red sunset. I doubt we'll see it tonight because of the overcast on top of the smoke. I suspect that overcast is what is driving the smoke so low today.

Damn. What did you do? Ive crossed the border at least twice a year for the last 15 years (up until covid) and never so much as a sideways glance. Even with my wife's aunt that works on the ferry yelling to the US customs guys on the dock to search us because we are smuggling in something. (they probably ignored us extra knowing we are related to the crazy canadian lady on the boot. )
