Hey all, I'm wondering if it is possible to convert a shield from 40 s&w to 9 mm? I know it's possible in some guns with a barrel and magazine change' and maybe a recoil spring. It would be like getting 2 guns much cheaper than you could normally.

Has anyone done this with a shield?

I have no idea if it's possible or not, but I'd recommend against it. Just buy a 9mm Shield and have two guns for the price of two guns. Gun prices in general are pretty good thanks to the natural drop that comes after a gun craze that reached insane heights post-Sandy Hook.

I did this with my M&P 40c. After buying the barrel & 2 mags, and taking into consideration the price of a shield I would NOT bother. I would just go buy another gun.
