I am considering getting a BB Storm but am concerned that it will not do what I want.

I have been a longtime Palm user and need to upgrade my PDA. If I were to get the Storm I would want it more as a PDA than the email access.

    Any thoughts?

I have heard that the Palm pre may be coming from Verizon. I am tempted to wait but since my Palm is an old M515 I am assuming that I will have major upgrade issues anyway.

    Thanks in advance.

as much as I hate to say it AT&T has better blackberries. the storm has not had a good seller because it's not that great. they hinged everything off of it's tactile touch screen which come to find out people don't like. the pre won't come out on verizon until at the earliest january of 2010. now I will tell you they have a new version of the storm coming out I think 4th quarter of this year. but your best bet is to wait for the I-phone on verizon it should come out about the same time or earlier than the pre.:twocents:

I'm a PALM smartphone user and my wife just got a Blackberry (not sure which model but its sort of a fancy one). I don't like it. It does a few more things than my Palm, has a better screen than my Palm, but it is not even close to being as intuitive as my Palm.

Just my 2-cents but I'd take a look at the Palm Pre. I'm considering upgrading to that phone from my current Palm.
