Colorado has been trying to pull this off for several years now; last year it escaped passing by only one vote. It's looking like it will pass this time.

The bill defines "assault weapons" (by manufacturer and model) and includes all semi-automatic pistols which have detachable magazines; virtually every semi-automatic pistol in existence. In addition it make transfer of this weapons illegal.

Yes, that is what is wrong with Colorado! People leave a ******** that has become unlivable because of democratic rule but they move and still vote demo. There are several of us here that came from downstate hellinois but we had always been voting against the democratic rule but tired of being overwhelmed by the chicago machine. Jim.

I have no moral reason to keep pot illegal, really have no personal give-a-**** one way or another. But right after Illinois made it legal I remember an article about a family from IIRC Montecillo Indiana moving to Danville Illinois. Said it was because pot was now legal in Illinois and Danville had a dispensary and wanted to be close to where they could buy pot. I have a feeling that family was not a great loss to Indiana. Colorado is now functionally controlled by Denver and Boulder, much of Illinois is controlled by Chicago. Boulder and Denver are both leftist, have high government employment especially Boulder, and they've had a huge influx of residence from the most blue States.

My children live there and are enamored with the outdoor lifestyle it supports. Neither see the risk which the Communists present nor the risk which the infringement of their god-given rights presents to their futures.
