Picked this up at an antique store today for $19. Anyone know anymore about the Ventura, CA marking and made in Japan? Nothing on the blade from what I can tell

Looks like a Safe Keeper III. Ventura CA would be where Cold Steel is headquartered. Typically their knives are spec'd out to other makers and imported, thus the Japanese markings.

I like push knives, and Cold Steel makes a good one for the money.

In New York, you are allowed to scream, bleed and die, but you may be sued in civil court if doing so causes your attacker to feel bad.
