I just signed myself and wife for the Cloverdale shoot on August 21. I have us covered as far a rifles go, with maybe an extra. I have an Active Duty friend(USMC) that I've convinced to go, and apparently his whole family of 4 more! Anyhow, he should be signing up soon, but they only have one 10/22. I've been told there are loaner rifles available...would we be able to get 3-4 of them to use, just one day, Saturday? And thanks in advance!

The Marine does not need a rifle he can throw the bullets and still qualify. :D

But I would loan mine to him if he needs one.

I will have two. Note that all of the instructors when loaning out rifles, loan out complete rifles. Slings, sights/scopes, mags, and often mats as well.

And every rifle we loan out has already made at least one Rifleman :rockwoot:

    Where's the bacon?
I will be there with two scoped 10/22s, however on Sunday only. :(

Start stretching now and start hydrating a day or so before. If it's not coming out, you don't have enough going in. Instructors, that goes for you, too (as I found out at Riley last month )
Shooters! Your preparation period begins NOW!

    Blessings,
    Bill

Well, I'm registered w/ wife. I thought my friend would be registered, but there is the family inertia to overcome I guess. They were all excited in principle. I'll talk to them again.

My friend says that they are registered. He believes that that need 3 rifles. Will we be able to 3 loaners? I do have an extra, but it is a 7 shot, bolt action Marlin.
