I got this riffle for $35 on clearance. It’s never been sharpened because it’s never lost it’s edge. I’ve cut wire, boxes, rope, and I used it to dress pheasants after a day hunting with the dog. Clean it, oil it with some good graphite oil and she’s like new. Can’t beat the value in that price range!

I bought a Elemental Damascus steel blade wood grips. It needed sharpened out of the box. I bought it for a gift.
I did play with it some it seems to be a decent knife for the money.
Expect to sharpen it though. How well it holds an edge I do not know.

That’s pretty shocking! Have several Civivi blades as does my wife and some friends. I’ve never had any edge issues out of the box. They are usually able to shave hair…

The one I have I had to actually put a proper edge on.
I was thinking it's my last Civivi knife.
Maybe I got one that got through without proper sharpening.
It doesn't take long to put a nice edge on them, and get them nice and sharp if you have the proper tool/tools.
My Ken Onion Work Sharp does an excellent job.

Dang, sorry to hear that. I’ll have to check em next time. I would’ve touched it up for you if I knew that. They’re usually pretty slicey from the factory
