Bought from Classic Firearms 2 or 3 years ago and never got around to de-cosmolining. It was supposed to be a project for a rainy day, but I’ve kinda lost hope that I’ll even find time to clean it up enough to be able to shoot it.
All numbers match except for the top cover, but patina/wear on top cover ‘matches’ the rest of the rifle, so I think it’s been on there a good while!
Receiver, bolt, stock, magazine and MILLED trigger guard all matching. The milled trigger guards were a little more sought after because the stamped ones were somewhat of a weak link in these otherwise basically bomb proof rifles.
This one is going to take some TLC to get her back to functioning. Every nook and orifice is absolutely JAM packed with cosmoline. I tried to photograph as much of the ‘trench art’ as possible so you know what you might be getting into.
I have $450 into it and it’d be nice to get it back.
Meet in/around Beech Grove preferably evenings or weekends, but can meet during the day on weekdays if near my home.
