I decided I wanted to get a copy of court records from a felony case (not mine) from 2002. I looked it up on mycase and got a case number but in the chronological summary a line from this time last year states: "case file destroyed pursuant to admin rule 7. ch".
The case was dismissed 17 years ago and the guy died 15 years ago.
