Where can i buy (if you can even buy) just an unused shotgun receiver....like a mossberg or 870?

I want to just buy the receiver and then build it from there...pistol grip and short barrel and have an AOW. This is legal right, because the receiver wouldnt have had a stock on it, and if i cut the barrel down and put a pistol grip on it it would still be considered an AOW, right?

    1) You can build this using a shotgun that has never had a buttstock on it, ie: Mossberg persuader(sp).
    2) The chances of you finding a virgin 870 or Mossy reciever is almost impossible.
    3) You do realize that if you build it yourself on a form 1, it will cost you a $200 stamp, whereas, if you buy one already built it will only incur a $5 stamp.

It will be cheaper and easier to buy one already built, trust me.

Okay...im getting it. So now that i know it would cost me $200 for the stamp to build my own that definately changes my mind. I thought it was still just $5 for the AOW, reguardless of if you built it yourself.

So besides the Serbu Super Shorty, what other AOW shotguns are out there?
