This is an original off a Browning Grade I A-500. There are NO gouges or chips! There IS some white paint transfer in a couple of places and the patina of age.
It was replaced for another forearm that had much nicer wood pattern that better matched the stock. This is believed to be the original forearm as shipped from the factory.
